The Atawa Executive Academy™ has commenced an intensive five-day Project Management Professional (PMP®) Examination Preparation Bootcamp for personnel of the United States Air Force, aimed at strengthening project leadership, strategic decision-making and governance capabilities.
The executive training programme, built on the PMBOK® Guide – Eighth Edition and aligned with the current PMP Examination Content Outline (ECO), combines globally recognised certification preparation with practical leadership development and real-world project management application.
The Academy said the programme consists of 10 modules delivered over five days, exposing participants to executive simulations, practical workshops, case studies, group exercises and PMP-style knowledge assessments designed to build competence beyond examination success.
According to Atawa Executive Academy™, the objective is to equip participants with the knowledge and confidence required to lead projects, manage uncertainty, protect organisational value and deliver measurable results in complex operational environments.
The training begins with Modern Project Leadership and Business Value, covering governance, strategic alignment, business case development, benefits realisation and value delivery.
Participants are also being trained on Project Planning and Execution, with emphasis on project charters, scope management, work breakdown structures, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, quality assurance, communication, procurement and disciplined execution.
Other modules focus on Performance Monitoring and Risk Management, including earned value management, project metrics, forecasting, variance analysis, integrated change control, quantitative risk analysis, contingency planning and executive decision-making.
The programme also features sessions on Stakeholder Engagement, Agile and Hybrid Project Delivery, Professional Ethics, Artificial Intelligence Governance, Cybersecurity, Privacy, Compliance and Sustainability, reflecting the evolving demands of modern project management.
The final day of the bootcamp is dedicated to PMP examination mastery, where participants undertake scenario-based practice questions, predictive, Agile and hybrid decision-making exercises, examination strategies, knowledge-gap analysis and advanced readiness assessments.
